2003
CERTIFIED INSANE was created by Martin (vocals), Blinki (drums) and Stefan (guitar). The ambition was to perform grindcore with crust influences. The first songs had been
assembled, the first little gigs had been survived and after a few months 15 songs were almost ready to record. And so they did... During a rehearsal in April 2003 they put 2 microphones in their rehearsal room and recorded their songs live in one session. The result has been a fuckin´ noisy bastard without compromises. They decided to put it all on a CD-R and called it "session demo".
2004
During agonizing the crowd a few gigs more and fabricating new stuff, they always thought about the eventuality to have a fourth member for the job on the bass guitar. As luck would have it, they met a dude at a concert and asked him, if he could imagine to play the bass in CI. After being present at some rehearsals, he agreed to saw the big strings in CI in the future. Now the new lineup of CERTIFIED INSANE was built up of:
Martin - vocals, Blinki - drums, Stefan - guitar, Tom - bass
Now the time has come to work on some new material, which should a bit distant from the style of the old songs. The current perception of creating new stuff was, to do it a bit more influenced by crustcore.
2005
Back from the dead, they´ve performed a few gigs, which were a lot more amusing than ever because of the new style of CERTIFIED INSANE. Again they wrote some new songs and recorded it by themselves at their rehearsal room during July and August 2005. They found a label (hmw distribution - Japan), which wanted to release the new stuff as their first album in CD format. The title should be "Raw, Crude ´N´ Relentless" and the ought be released in February 2006...
2006
Yeah - nothing very special happend this year... Ok, maybe there was something: They released their first album "Raw, Crude ´N´ Relentless" in March and continued working on some new stuff for you...
In July CI met their fate: Tom left the band for job-related reasons. They played one last gig at his own parting party and let him go on his further journey.
